Grant Funding Opportunity 2010/11	Scout Network
Local County Councillors in Worcestershire each have up to £3,500 to support organisations working with young people between 8 and 19 years between 1 April 2010 and 31 March 2011. What can be funded:- a one-off activity, a start up or new activity or to contribute to a larger project with matching funding from elsewhere. What cannot be funded:- Capital expenditure, such as refurbishment of buildings, or support for projects for individuals. 2011 World Scout Jamboree - Sweden	We're Growing !
The County Unit of 40 Scouts, Explorers & Leaders were together for their first week-end Training Camp in April at Rhydd Covert. Every District in the County is represented and members are working on fundraising. Fundraising merchandise (Badges, Key Rings, Trolley Tokens, Shoulder Bags and Pens) are available through Unit Members in your District. Bromsgrove, Evesham and South Marches Districts have also increased their membership during 2009-10.

There are now 105 Groups & Units Scouting in Herefordshire & Worcestershire totalling 5,964 members.
