Details
  • The cost is £12.00 per person for a half day of paddle sport activities.
  • There will be a maximum of 36 places on each session
  • All activities are run under current Scout Association Safety Rules for Adventurous Activities.
  • Cubs taking part in water activities must be confident in the water. Anybody who is not a competent swimmer (50m in light clothing) must inform the coach at the beginning of each session.
  • Cubs taking part in water activities are required to bring a change of dry clothes, towel, getting wet clothes including a wind/water proof top and footwear (NOT WELLIES).
  • Changing facilities and showers are available on site. All participants must wash before eating or drinking.
  • Cubs can only attend if they have Leaders from their pack coming for the session or firm arrangements are made in advance of the event for them to join with another pack. Names of these leaders must be supplied prior to the event. Cub Leaders are responsible for supervising the Cubs when they are not participating in the activity.
  • Activities are Kayaking, Canoeing and Bellboating.

Entry Information

  • Information for Cubs to take home to their parents is attached to this document.  This includes a parent permission form which needs to be returned to you the Cub Leader.  These forms are not to be returned to Activate.   Please return the form below with a group cheque made payable to "Activate Team"
  • No entry will be accepted without the full fee of £12.00 per Cub.  No money = no entry. No booking of places via email, telephone, etc. will be accepted.
  • Places will be allocated on a 1st come 1st served basis, once all the available places have been taken all leaders will be notified.
  • If places allow the closing date for all entries will be Friday 20th April.
  • Shortly after the closing date Cub Leaders will be notified by email, the number of places they have been allocated and on which session AM or PM
